Self-Filing

What do I need to file the Modelo 210 myself?

Filing generally requires the following information and documents. Mandatory: the NIE number (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) of each owner, the Referencia Catastral of the property (from the Escritura or the IBI assessment), the cadastral value (Valor Catastral, also from the IBI assessment), the ownership share in percent, and the days of ownership in the tax year. For rental income, additionally: the total gross rental receipts for the tax year. For EU/EEA residents wishing to claim expense deductions: documentation of IBI, community charges, insurance premiums, mortgage interest, and depreciation where applicable. For payment: an IBAN account. Practical usability for the AEAT payment depends on the individual bank and SEPA status — a bank transfer or Spanish account may be required. When filing through Fiscaro, all required data is collected in a structured wizard. The calculation follows DA 55 LIRPF / AEAT Manual Renta 2025 §7.3.4, with the IBI assessment and the Año de revisión stated therein as the authoritative reference. Practical tip: have the IBI assessment (Recibo del IBI) to hand before filing. It contains the cadastral value, the Referencia Catastral and the valuation year — the three data points that determine the calculation.
