Over the past 15 years I have guided more than 100 owners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom through the Spanish property market. Almost all of them had the same problem: they didn't know that as non-residents they are liable to pay tax every year — regardless of whether they rent out their property or simply use it themselves. Some discovered their outstanding declarations only when selling. Others through a letter from the AEAT. Most were faced with a choice between an expensive local tax advisor or the confusing portal of the Spanish tax authority. Both options are unnecessarily complex for what is, at its core, a straightforward process. Fiscaro is here to change that: clear guidance, a guided tool, fair costs.
